the best way to start a thread is to post what you want to see...
Yeah, I know. But, I can't save any pics on this computer, as it is not mine...
Is there a way you can post pictures directly from the web, other than just pasting the link?
There are actually several ways.
One is to setup a web server on your machine and then you can access your files directly over the net. You can get free software from the shareware sites. Such as ''''
http://win.softpedia.com/http://download.cnet.com/windows/There are thousands of these sites, just look for GPL and freeware apps.
___
Another way to have pictures, etc. available online is to use one of the free backup sites. Such as....
http://www.adrive.com/http://allwaysync.com/http://www.drivehq.com/There are thousands of these sites too, both free and paid with all sorts of options and features.
___
Another way is to use a free web page to host extra files, most ISP's give you some amount of free web space to setup a home page, you can setup a simple single page, such as "coming soon" ...., and then put files in the web space and then you can direct linking to files you have there.
But its best to use a free web space for this, but you will have to put the files on html documents for most free sites.
Of course there are also cheap web hosting from like $5.00 a month, you can pay for this with one of them gift credit cards if you don't want your name on the stuff you post.
___
Another way is the option of using the image hosts we all know about, such as megaupload, rapidshare, etc., and the mirror sites like mirriorcreator, multiupload, etc. What you can do on most of these sites is setup a account and place files in it. Then you can send them to people, other sites, or post links to them and all you will have to have is your user account to get to all the files you have on the host. On most of these sites there are both free and paid options with different features, you can pay for these sites with a gift credit card if you don't want your name on the account.

Anyway that's a few of the ways. There are more, but some of them are hard to setup and so are not the best idea for someone who isn't versed in the more complicated parts of the internet.
