I thought it might be interesting to attempt a small project…

In most cases when translating comics/manga from the original Japanese into English, the speech bubbles are emptied of the original ‘kanji’ and the English words inserted. Granted, that approach is fairly quick and easy, but I find it a bit disconcerting because the images still progress from right to left, which often conflicts with the flow of the English dialog.

I have taken the liberty of addressing this ‘shortcoming’ in the 'stimulating' 4-page sequence Reindeer Wardroom [for lack of a better title] by Purisira and Ad Meyer appearing in Reply #196 #176. I flipped each page horizontally before re-inserting the dialog, and also modifying it in some places. Viewers are invited to comment on my ‘experiment’.

[I regret that I was unable to make any sense of the ‘sound effects’ which appear outside of the speech bubbles, but if any viewers can interpret them, they are free to edit my version, if so inclined...]

People are usually used to the right to left reading, but what they're not used to is reading blurry images, which is what you posted. You need to learn how to save stuff from pixiv at its highest resolution my guy.

Yeah, the end result was more blurry than I would have liked, so a valid critique. That said, my main objective was get the dialog and images more 'in sync', but if, as you suspect, viewers don't find that particularly important, I might just pursue it for my own 'private recreational purposes'.
