I read somewhere, I think from one of my fitness friends on fb, that many fbb's and fitness women use MAC cosmetics for contest because it is supposed to be really good for the stage.  Apparently MAC is used a lot on commercials, television and theater and female bodybuilders, physique etc. got wise to it. 

So MAC must know it has a customer base in this industry and is marketing to it.  Not withstanding the fact that Jelena Abbou is smoking hot and of course the shock value of the ad.

What a pleasant surprise this is!  Some of the top rated comments -- "At least these women do not look like they are starving!"  and "Women in the ads today always look so unhealthy. She is beautiful."  -- are very encouraging as well.  Definitely a step in the right direction.
