I think you will find many of the ladies probably were not entering beauty contests before bodybuilding, but I get your point.

That is why when people say Kristy Hawkins or girls with some looks don't do it for them, I just shake my head.

For me, apart from that I REALLY LIKE redheads, I'm what I suppose could be forgiven as been termed an "omnivore" as regards the type of women I'm attracted to - female bodybuilders, glamour/porn/big-bust models, actresses, ordinary women in the street - it really depends on the woman in question.

Even I find it strange that I can like female bodybuilders like Roberta, models like Chelsea Charms, and actresses like Gillian Anderson & Geena Davis - all very different women in terms of body shape, height and looks.  Still, I'm not complaining - more for me to choose from!!

No, Roberta isn't going to win an "beauty" contests, but then nor will most people, that's why beautiful women are sought after - they're not a "dime-a-dozen" as our american friends would say.  For me, its that "something special" about a woman that sparks my interest, her eyes, her smile, her body shape or aspect of her physique - in Roberta's case its her incredible muscle mass and vascularity - that's what stands her out from the crowd.

Maybe you're searching for this: I think a lot of what many bodybuilders - male and female - go through is an obsession with their own physique: I think the term for it has been called "bigorexia" (opposite to anorexia), whereby the bodybuilder in question always thinks they're small (even though they're definitely not), never satisfied with the results of their training, and so can very easily spiral into over-training, increased/more dangerous drug-taking and a withdrawal from their life outside bodybuilding (to "concentrate" ever more on "getting bigger").

Unless we know Roberta personally, we can't say whether she's got much bigger in such a short space of time because she's "tipped over" into this type of behavoir, or just found that she really wanted to look (physique-wise) how she does now.   Sometimes, a combination of changing/refining training strategy in concert with dietry and supplements can lead to large gains in a realtively short space of time (e.g. 2 years).  Is anyone here aware how long her "transformation" has taken?

To be honest, until the posts about here started here about a month ago, I'd never heard of her, but then if she was much less muscular, say a figure competitor, I wouldn't have noticed her as I've always been into female bodybuilders in the main.
