Shannon just competed in a local NPC show in South Carolina and was one of the bodybuilders interviewed for this occasion by ABC affiliate ABC15 News.

Other people, like Shannon Rabon, didn't even expect to enter any contests after 2005.

The bodybuilder of 20 years got into a serious car accident in 2005. Her pulse stopped multiple times when EMTs and doctors tried to save her.

"I died three times, so they didn't know if I was gonna make it," she said. "I came through that and then got hit by a drunk driver and died again, and after coming out of that, I was diagnosed with breast cancer."
