Back in the 90's there was a company that did bodybuilding video rentals through the mail. I rented a few and then made copies. Tape dubbing VCRs were out of my price range so I had to use 2 VCRs which meant borrowing one from my parents. In retrospect I wish I had done more of it because there is so much content that is being lost out there. This came from a tape with Christa Bauch and Gabriella Szikszay. There was some damage to the tape as well as some color problems. I white balanced the video using the border of the framed picture from in the first scene. In a few parts during the capture there were tracking problems but since I used a ieee firewire pass through no frames were dropped. I then went back in and deleted the frames with anomalies. I've seen the parts with Gabriella online but I've not seen this footage of Christa on the web.


For me seeing Christa flexing in her chainmail bikini is pure Dungeons and Dragons fantasy. I would love to attempt a Conanette, Barbarianna, Herculiza type of sword and sorcery film. The protagonist obviously a female bodybuilder that overwhelms her opponents with brute strength. I thought Lindsay Mulinazzi could make a great Red Sonja but copyright lawyers would put an end to that. Sadly it would take a massive amount of cash to produce and it would only have us schmoes to appreciate it.
