New Rules for Contest Gallery Posting (February 4, 2026)

Started by Old Surehand, February 04, 2026, 04:14:32 PM

Right now contest photos are too scattered, which makes it hard to follow a specific show, compare athletes, or even find results in a meaningful way. At the same time, individual athlete threads get overwhelmed and lose their purpose. From now on, official contest galleries should be shared in the Contest Picture section only.

• Individual competitor contest pictures will only be posted one gallery and one post per show, grouped by year and show
• The first poster should clearly title the thread with contest name and year and add basic contest info
• All divisions and athletes from that contest go into the same topic — no separate threads per division
• Posts must include division and placement
• Where possible, athletes should be grouped by division to keep threads readable
• Scorecards or division results are strongly encouraged

Ok.  I guess you guys have made your decision but I don't think it's the right one.  If a person wants to, "follow a specific show, compare athletes, or even find results in a meaningful way" they should just go to the contest sites. Saradas is a way to follow a specific individual and discover all of her content in one place (her thread) whether it is contest, Insta**** or wherever.  If a person doesn't know all the contests in which a woman has competed, he or she will miss and never find those pics/content.  And they will have to search all over a bunch of different threads to find her instead of just going to her thread and finding everything.

This new rule makes it VERY difficult to find all of the pics/content for a woman.

All we've succeeded in doing, by allowing the sharing of every NPC News Online gallery, is making the individual picture threads too cumbersome to navigate. You can continue to post progress pictures and pictures from social media. You don't need to see an 100 picture gallery in her thread to know how she did in a contest. Many of these ladies publish pictures that highlight what and how they did in a contest. You can still share those. On a given pro show there can be as few as 12 and as many as 25 Open Physique competitors. On the day those pictures are shared, they're easy to navigate because they're posted at the same time.  By the next pro show that all changes, because those contest pictures from the previous show are buried in the competitor's thread. Under the new rules, I can still look up that same show weeks and months later and all of their pictures are displayed consecutively in one neat thread, along with comparison photos, award presentation photos, scorecards and candid photos. Put their name category and placing (If available at the time of the post) in the post and they can be found via forum search.
