Zack Snyder Thinks Amy Adams Should Start Bodybuilding
Zack Snyder, of Justice League, Watchmen and latest Army Of The Dead fame, told about a project he wanted to do with actress Amy Adams around female bodybuilding, with a plot similar to Darren Aronofsky's 2008 The Wrestler. Not a fan at all of the guy's style, but hey who knows what he can accomplish with this.
Some excerpts of choice:
Snyder told Adams that he's long wanted to make a movie like 'The Wrestler,' a 2004 film about an athlete struggling with aging, with a female lead.
Snyder has been forming a script in his mind that would require Amy Adams to begin bodybuilding.[...] Snyder took Adams aside and pitched her the idea, which he had already been mulling over for some time.
Snyder told Adams that he has been meaning to make a movie similar to The Wrestler for quite a while[...] A kind of female version of The Wrestler, about a midwestern housewife who happens to have a pretty good body, and starts to do some bodybuilding competitions.
Snyder believes that Adams would be great for the role, as it requires someone who deeply loves acting. As he explained to The Telegraph, “it would be such a hugely hard job just training to the point at which it was believable. And you need someone like Amy who loves the craft to do it.
The project has been discussed at length, and Adams does seem excited about it. The script, however, has not yet been written.
Let's see if the project gets some legs and is confirmed. Fun fact: Amy Adams's mom used to be a FBB (Not mentioned in the piece, but this article does https://blog.sfgate.com/dailydish/2013/06/17/amy-adams-mother-intimidated-boyfriends/).

Does Amy Adams have a body that could pull it off?
Maybe for figure after some training. They might also rely on some CGI effects.
It will be interesting to see where this project goes...

They should use Pink as the main character.

Pink does have a great foundation, but not the acting chops. Also I think this film will never happen. If love for it to come to fruition but I don't see it getting done.
