A real package and a true bodybuilder who never got enough of the credit she well deserved.   That said....she stands at the top of the heap as decades pass.  The true test...time.   (Another BTW is Paula Suzuki  who came and went too quickly )

I'm with Alison.
Bodybuilding.....is just that.  The judges were short sighted in the realization that women were in fact fully capable of it...  Women built their bodies.  And when they did, somehow the judges were stunned.   After some years trying to stuff the Genie back into the bottle they just walked away on real women who built their bodies......the true bodybuilders.  Ohhh don't get me going.

Interesting analysis. So, from the judges' perspective.....it was more like: "We've created Frankenstein, and now we can't stop him"?  :-\



Isn't their also a "sex sells" side to this? By trying to make female bodybuilders fit into a specific ideal, aren't they trying to cater to the mainstream public? They're afraid of not making as much money because the average person doesn't find it appealing - but that's not what the sport is designed for.   :shhh:
