don't get me wrong, is the summer really any safer? going through the south you can easily get hit by dangerous monsoons, tornadoes, hurricanes too. pretty much any situation where you have pressure to make it to your destination so you don't have to cancel a session and miss your pay day can present a dangerous situation. especially in recent years where these storms are getting worse and worse. I've done some traveling for sessions myself, and these days I just say no thanks to driving and get on a plane every time. I get that flights can get expensive and get in the way of profits. at least as a client scheduling one session you can be selective about dates where flights and hotels are a bit cheaper.
I know another girl who roadtripped to Houston for sessions right after they had a hurricane and was putting herself at risk with the flooding there and didn't think twice about it. this girl (this other girl, not Bella) also got in a minor car crash on her way to see me when I was in her city because she was extremely carb-deprived and couldn't focus on the roads and was putting such pressure on herself to get to my hotel on time when she should have known me well enough to know I wouldn't care if we started at 6 PM or 6:30 PM or even 8 PM.
