I think that if you see that an athlete is happy to post sexy pictures of herself on her social media , there is a good chance that she will take it further and maximise the opportunities that a sexy picture will present.
If she made a mistake by posting such pictures, she will take them down.
Having been close friends with an FBB, I have seen the evolution from athlete to UTR to blatant advertising. From few partners to a figure she can no longer count.
I am old school FBB fan, and what has happened to the sport continues to be a shock to me. When I first became a fan, the sport kicked out athletes that sold themselves for money.
But I understand that the sport takes many hours of hard work, and is very expensive. Selling your body to help fund your development, means that all the hard work is self generating.
Particularly, as only the very few make a bit of money through prize money, that hardly covers any expenses at the end of the day.
So, sadly, no one should be disillusioned by the revelations in this post. If a business opportunity arises, and an athlete is willing to make money via these activities, they will think hard and quite likely do it. For as long as there are people out there willing to buy. It seems to natural progression, unless the athlete decided this is not for them.
There is also the aspect that sports medication can affect some athletes, changing the requirements they have in life. A raging sex drive!
I am not saying all athletes do this, or if they do, go the whole way before retiring. Many have other ways to fund their sport, money in the family, good careers. But even those with good careers may decide to take a further step. And many get a kick out of this anyway.
Unfortunately, those that try to stay UTR often find that is not possible, and the impact on friendships and family can be very unpleasant, and difficult to repair. As we see in this topic, people like to gossip.
That's the risk vs reward element.
