Both Brenda and Valerie were two of the sport's top amateurs for several years when we taped them for the first time here in 1997 and each was in top contest shape. Each woman gets about an hour here, featuring lots of posing in different outfits and an interview. We lead off with Brenda who hits the shots in 6 outfits and while she looks fairly muscular in repose, we were a bit surprised at how much larger and defined she looked when hitting the shots, particularly her biceps. We had two different sessions with Valerie- in top contest shape at 5'6" 140 then she was in sort of off-season shape a month before that at 150 pounds, though she was in such good shape it is hard to detect the extra 10 pounds. She poses in many outfits for both sessions, and in addition to her 'complete' physique, she shows off some of the deepest cut abs ever. She was 2nd in the Jan Tana Pro Show and her stage routine is included here also, along with her interview.

Brenda and Valerie were both top amateurs on the west coast during the early-mid 90’s, and by 1997, when this work was done, both had turned pro. Each woman gets about an hour here, with an interview and plenty of posing in great looking outfits. Leading off with Brenda, she hits shots in 6 different swimsuits and dresses, each set to a different piece of light music. She looks pretty muscular in repose, but even we were surprised at the size of the muscles, particularly the biceps, when flexed. And every other bodypart is there, well developed muscularity and great definition. Combined with her great facial looks and naturally pleasing body, it makes for a most attractive physique subject. We had two tapings with Valerie: in contest shape at the time of the Jan Tana show (5'6" 140 pounds of well distributed muscularity) and about a month prior to that at 150 pounds—you will hardly notice the difference as the definition was right on both times, witnessed by some of the most deep-cut abs ever! Valerie’s footage is all “live” as you watch her during her photo shoot, hitting the shots in her bikinis, dress and two short short outfits. Valerie was 2nd in the Tana show (and her contest routine is included here), testimony to not only a very, very muscular body, but one with perfect balance—you need it all to beat that many (30 women) top international women!!

Brenda is almost too sexy, too perfectly cute, of Oriental descent. She recently killed the competition at the 1998 NPC Nationals (very well deserved and long overdue), as she was perfection in symmetry. This tape was from 1997, however, when she was nearly as good. Even with all the sex appeal that she exudes, you can still see her abs standing out at attention, with deep ridges easily caught by the camera. There's one prolonged close-up of her deep deep ridges while she's lying on her back which is almost worth the price of the tape alone. However, Valerie Gangi was the highlight. Abs so hard in the early footage on this tape, it was breathtaking (and you KNOW I'm an abs fanatic). Very thick muscles all over, and her expression and face just to me is so incongruous with a girl in such good shape ('specially her midsection) it adds to the appeal. Some of the best abs footage ever. Later in the tape, you see her really, REALLY thick (unfortunately kinda steroid'ed out looking - but I'm getting to enjoy that look, too) where the thickness in her arms and shoulders are just wow. The abs aren't shot close-up enough at the end, however.
