Stumbled across these in IMDB.

A list of tall actresses, some of which I had no idea about. For example, Kelly McGillis is 5'10". She would have thrown Tom Cruise up on the counter in the ladies room in Top Gun!

It's really quite amazing what passes as 'muscular' in Hollywood.

I believe many industry insiders think fit = muscular or not fat = muscular.  Very few actresses are actually muscular in the way we would term it, to the level of at least a Figure competitor.  Probably why so many skinny actresses get 'superhero' roles, e.g. the upcoming She-Hulk role (if it ever appears).  Most muscular female characters in books adapted to film never make it to the screen out of the studio's fear of it putting off the punters (e.g. in Hannibal, both the film and TV series): 'it's all about bums on seats, lovvie' or get portrayed as nearly men (in 'Scary Movie' or 'Grown ups 2') baddie henchwomen nut-jobs, normally down to be unceremoniously bumped off by the (male) hero.  A real shame.

I almost hate to say this but I did not see Lauren Powers on that long list. Or Kasie or Carla Haug.

I have to agree with NinjaStar on this one.  Hollywood has a strange look at what muscular is.  A lot of the actresses mentioned on the IMDB aren't even close to the low end of the figure competitor.

She trained up to a Crossfit level before it was a thing...  Too bad she doesn't usually carry that level of muscle.  Upcoming DC girl Brooke Ence on the other hand...

Being a truck is her thing.  Perhaps she will finally break through!?!

Want to add actress Kristin Lehman.. She's in the new Netflix series Altered Carbon.. I recognized Lehman from the 9os Outer Limits' series. It looks like she's muscled-up some. You can see her arm & shoulder development some in these pics. And in the first Carbon episode, she wears a flowing dress that really reveals beautiful, softball sized calves..

It was supposed to be tall or muscular, both representing big, strong women. But nobody seems to care about tall. It's all good, but you're missing out if you don't give the six footers a look.
