Just to give you an idea of what she went through, here's a repost from Muscle Insider's Facebook page from January 2nd 2023. A little more than a month before she died. She describes her ordeal:
We regret to report that IFBB Pro Tonya Knight is battling a very serious cancer. “I was feeling terrible. I found out on Tuesday that I have Cancer and it is in the sinuses and causes horrible headaches, burning sinuses, my teeth and gums hurt,and my lymph nodes in the neck are like the size of golf balls. I already know I will be having chemo and radiation. I'm scheduled for a PET scan to see where else it is in my body. The pain is unbearable.” -Tonya Knight
