Hi guys, new here so don't bite :-)
Thought this could be a useful thread for posting names/locations of any gyms or other places where any of us spot FBBs!
It's very rare to find FBB here, partly because we don't have the kind of bodybuilding culture of the US and most people cover up most of the time due to the weather! ;-)

Well, I am lucky in that sense, I live in Watford, and there is a very tall, extremely muscular woman who lives in the lane across from mine. she goes running sometimes and she passes through the road across from my house. She's not famous, but incredibly looking, people tend to stop doing what they are doing and stare with their mouths agape as she runs past. I have tried to wave to her a few times, but too intimidated!!!

Don't think we get any in the midlands, although I think quite a few women bodybuild in the north of the UK, esp Manchester area.

Slim pickings in UK. Saw Bernie Price in TK Max St.Helens about 15 years ago and that's more or less it for significant FBB sightings by me. Yeah, you get the odd flash of toned/trained muscle here or there but nothing eye-popping. If this thread makes two pages this decade I'll be flabbergasted!

About 10 years ago I met a very attract women working in a bodybuilding supplement shop in Bolton.
When I first went in as we was a fitness type, then 12 months or so later I went to the same shop and she had transformed herself into an impressive female bodybuilder, wearing tight weight out clothes.
Unfortunately, the shop has now shut down

Swindon is, for UK standards, okaaaayy for female muscle. Strongwoman Josie Keck lives here, and there is also a fairly well known powerlifter called Charlie (as in Charlotte) erm, errrrrrm, something who lives about two roads away from me.
Whilst not well known, there are plenty of fitness and figure types, Nicole Cutting being one, and although I don't know her name, there is a Tara Scotti look/build-a-like who goes to a local gym.
I do Crossfit in Swindon and whilst we don't have any FBB's, there are some good bodies here!

I started training in the early 90s and have only seen two fbbs in gyms: one in Nick Naylors in St Helens (a pleasant surprise on a sunday morning); and in a gym in Newton le Willows/Earlestown that was actually managed by a competitive fbb. I virtually ran out of the changing room when I heard her showing off her muscles to another member :wow: Both occasions were in the mid-1990s, and I doubt I will ever see another as the heyday is long gone :shucks

For me - only 2 sightings in UK ever.
1 - As I was walking to Paddington station, it was quite hot and in i saw Marina Cornwall. She has a small fram but very cut. 4 yrs ago.
2 - In a Nandos near Gosport. She was at a table with 2 friends. Turned out to be Rosie Harte. She was offseason bth didnt look that muscular. U could see she worked out and and nice broad shoulders relative to her waist. But she is stunning - very attractive look. The reason why I spotted her because it was actually a genuine "babe alert" moment. The bonus besides being so attractive, she was a fbb - great combo imo. this was about 18months back.

The late great Sharon (Arrildt) Marvel- Johnston was born in the town where I live, but I arrived long after she left for the US. Although, there is now doubt whether she has passed away, RX-M reported it a year or so ago, so here's hoping it's a duff report.
In Sidmouth, my childhood home town, I met local FBB Rowan Duxbury, really nice lady.

She was shopping for chicken, of course, in her track suit. No real hint of muscle on the day.
Apart from seeing muscle at local contests, that's it, a desert with out muscle exists around me!

Spotted a fbb in Bank in a Pret a Manger.
She was a PT. She was very short and with a big black dude. But she was thick and cut. Great shoulders, back and arms and you could see how the ppl 's eyes popped out when they say her muscles.
Not someone I recognised but a pleasant sighting.

The late Trish Porter was manageress in a restaurant in a small town about 10 miles from me. I was there a few times for family meals, and saw her twice. One time you could see her muscular arms and a couple of people mentioned the muscle, saying they didn't think a woman should look like that. I said she looks well!
There is an extremely good looking woman around 20 years old who works out in same gym as me. She is pretty well defined and seems quite strong, but she isn't well-known/famous.

Was on the same flight back from Omaha as Wendy McCready. The opportunity never arose to say hi but she represented the UK brilliantly in Omaha.

We're having a mini heatwave in the UK at the moment and this can sometimes present itself with some surprising and pleasant sightings around London. Whilst living and working around London I've been lucky enough to catch a few moments of muscle especially during the summertime.
A few highlights include the FBB that used to regularly come into the department store I worked in and spent quite a bit of time shopping around the area I worked in. Sometimes she'd come in with her kids if it was the school holidays, sometimes she'd be on her own, always she'd be smoking hot and wearing a vest top to show off her chiseled biceps and shoulders. If it was cold she'd take her jacket off when she was in the store, you could tell she loved the attention. She must've been in her late 30s to early 40s but she had the body of a goddess and I let her know after serving her a couple of times. From then on she'd often give me a cheeky smile if we mad eye contact and she would tense her arm to make her bicep pop for me. What a tease. Unfortunately, she seemed happily married and was at least 15 years older than me.
I've also spotted a lady around East London a couple of times that looks a bit like Louise Rogers, but I don't think it's her. Once with a friend walking around Spitalfields in a black cropped sleeved hoodie and leggings showing off an amazing set of abs and shapely legs, the next time was a bit more mind blowing though. On my way to work one morning, it was really foggy and a bit chilly. You couldn't really see a lot in front of you as the fog was so dense, but I could make out the shadow of someone jogging towards me. Then as the figure became clearer I could see it was the same woman I'd seen before. She wasn't scared of the low temperatures though. She was in a black sports bra and leggings showing off the same incredible abs along with well rounded shoulders and a stocky pair of guns on her. I've hoped to see her again on my way into work, but I now have a different route into work since moving house. :(
Which brings me to my new spot. On my way to work on Wednesday I was pleasantly surprised to catch the site of some really nice abs and a great set of shoulders on a lovely young lady. She turned down the alley I usually go down when I'm nearly at my office, so I found myself following her for a bit. She wasn't walking too fast and she stopped to light a cigarette and I passed her. As I turned off towards my office I decided to get my camera phone out and as she passed by I sneakily took some quick snaps, just to make sure my mind wasn't playing tricks on me in the morning! It wasn't. You can see her abs in the photo and her amazing traps. I cropped her face though. It's probably bad enough that I've taken her photo without her knowing.

Then this morning. Same time, same place. The same awesome lady crossed my path. Different outfit, but still incredible and beautiful. This time I managed to get a couple of different pics showing her round biceps and her tapered back and shoulders.

London is a cosmopolitan city and I don't think she's British. I thought she might be a Brazilian living here, but her body shape doesn't match the usual Brazilaian stereotype. She seems to skip leg day and spend most of her efforts on her upper body. I don't mind that, I'm more of a bicep man than a leg man anyway. :)

I think it was the gym group. She must be an instructor there.

Was just walking around Kingston, SW London. Saw a woman with very toned, fairly muscular arms, her veins were very prominent and a couple of people took a second glance. She was in her early 40s at least and had very tanned, leathery skin, but was fairly hot.

I too was in Kingston today, having a burger at 5 Guys and I saw a woman walk past the window in gym attire who had big muscled thighs. Was lunching with some work colleagues so didn't want to make it obvious.
Best sighting I had was about 3 years ago in Billericay, Essex. I saw a huge female bodybuilder 3 Saturday's on the trot in Billericay High Street. The first time was with my wife and young son, so opportunity to check her out was minimal. However the following week I went back to the high street (on my own), at a similar time, and I saw her again. Unfortunately she was with her boyfriend or husband who looked like a mean dude so I admired from afar. I guess she was late 20s or early 30s, long blonde/brown hair, about 5' 4. She looked close to competition and was huge all over. Excessive Google search has never highlighted who she was. She was simply too big to be not a serious bodybuilder.

Just to add, I used to work in London for a number of years and have seen the following:
1. Karen Spencer (I think that is her name) who was a female bodybuilder who featured in a Virgin mobile phone add about 8 years ago. Saw her at Liverpool street station in shorts and sports bra. I spoke to her, got a picture on my mobile and a feel of her bicep. Very friendly.
2. Saw a couple touring around St Paul's. The girl looked in her early 20s and had huge quads (about 4 years ago).
3. Used to regularly see a cute short blonde woman on the morning commute walking past Mansion House. She had huge calves, clearly looks like a gym instructor.
4. I also used to see a dark haired woman, near the Lloyds building who had enormous calves.

I have seen a huge caucasian woman walk around Liverpool Street station also, accompanied sometimes with a black girl. Huge girl, trying to work out who she is, might be corrina martin as i know she used to work around there.

Saw a big girl in Eastleigh, Hampshire yesterday.
Big everywhere, big fake tits and obviously had work on her face too. She was just in cut off hot pants and a short vest top. Dark leathery tan all over and a very obvious roid gut, with a wide prominent sixpack. She was walking around with this huge guy. She looked a hell of a lot like Debra D'Andrea.

I don't think so. I just recalled some memories of spots I've had over the last few years and then recalled a recent spot. I take lots of photos on my phone all the time. I just happened to have it handy when the lady crossed my path. I took some quick snaps and shared them on here as others have shared photos before.

Saw a woman in Garfunkels in St Paul's (which is fairly close to Bank?) definitely a FBB as she had great shoulders and arms. Noticed her as she walked past as I was having food with my gf. Could be the same woman? Not cut but still pretty big!

Saw a super ripped girl in the gym at David Lloyd Derby today. There's also amazon type woman there - about 6feet tall and 200 lbs who trains with all the men. I cast a sneaky glance their way when I can :cool2:

My best sighting of all time was when I visited the first Bodypower show at the NEC in Birmingham about five years ago. Driving into the car park, I saw a couple walking back from the halls to their car. He was clearly a BB as well, but she was the most incredible amazon I have ever witnessed. She must have been close to 6ft tall and she was absolutely immense. Her shoulders were so wide she couldn't put her arms by her sides. I have seen the competitors at the Ms. Olympia contest in the flesh and she made all of them look puny. I managed to park the car and ran like hell to try and catch them up, but they had disappeared.
I have looked out for her at subsequent Bodypower shows but have never seen her again. I would love to find out who she was. I can't think that she can have ever competed because she would have caused a sensation.

I think that's the best part about liking FBB's and being somewhat familiar with a lot of them due to the internet. The chance of spotting a woman that you've never seen before.
It's kinda assumed that if you get to a certain level of muscularity then you OBVIOUSLY want to compete, and get your name out there, or possibly make money online (if you get my drift). Not all women though (just like not all men). Some just want to be as muscular as possible, just because they want to.
At my spin class there was a very, very muscular older blonde woman. Must have been late 40s, early 50s. Tall, long blonde hair, long, thick, ropey muscles. She probably could have competed, but was never interested. There must be hundreds of women, thousands even, worldwide who we have no idea about. To me that's exciting.

Wow, there do seem to be a lot of fbb fans in the UK. Too bad there are so few fbbs there.
I'd be interested in hearing about fbb sightings in Germany. That is one country where there are
a LOT of fbbs (relatively speaking) -- probably third most, after the US and Canada.

I think the UK lacks world class FBB's and, coupled with that, steroid culture within women who work out. We lack the really big girls. However I will say that we have plenty of muscular women (relatively speaking). Plenty o' girls walking about with fairly decent musculature about them, but very few much bigger than that.
You go to some places in the UK, like Bridgend, Liverpool, Newcastle or Southend On Sea and steroid culture is overwhelming in the menfolk, however that's never transferred across to the women, and I suppose that's surprising.

Few days ago i saw a girl walking to Hulme with huge defined biceps.
She had black curly long hair and was waring a sleeveless basketball vest (im guessing to show off thos biceps)
I can't believe it, I have never seen a fbb on the streets anywhere before and within the space of 2 months i saw three!

Two sighting of muscular women in London and a drawing of one on a billboard:
1. About a couple of years ago I was walking through the (new) concourse at Kings Cross Station to catch my train home when suddenly this incredibly muscular, but very short asian woman (almost certainly a FBB, but I didn't recognise her face and didn't get a photo [no phone with a camera back then!]) - she had huge legs (both quads/hams and calves) and big arms, all of which were very defined and tanned. I would've tried to speak to her (she seemed a bit lost and eventually spoke to a [lucky] male member of staff to fin the right platform), only I would've missed my train (bummer). Amazingly I (probably) saw her again not too far away (about 15-20 mins walk) in Russell Square about 6 months later walking in the opposite direction with some nerdy-looking middle-aged (~50) guy (he looked like a college professor, which was a possibility given the location [lots of colleges/universities in the vicinity]). Hopefully she will make an appearance again in the not-too-distant future as I still work in this part of London. I will try and get a photo as I now have a smart phone with a camera.
2. My other recent sighting was during my lunch-hour one day last week when I passed what I initially thought was a not-too-attractive woman (she was also smoking at the time), only to catch sight of her legs, particularly from the rear - they were large and very well defined - especially the calves. I will definitely go for a walk that route again armed with my camera phone. You never know, I might even have the courage to speak to her.
As others have said, the UK doesn't have a lot of decent FBBs, but a good number of fit and muscular women, most of which stay under the radar for us fans.

I go to the gym when there are very few people around, so rarely see any muscular girls in my area, but they are definintely around. A couple of months ago I was driving home and saw an amazingly fit girl running down the footpath beside the road. I struggled to keep my eyeballs on the road as I slowed down to check her out. Young brunette in black shorts and sports bra- looked a bit like Jessica Biel, but her body was more like the Tennis player, Sam Stosur's. Ripped, bulging biceps and rounded, powerful shoulders. Great muscle "detail" in her back too.
I think there are plenty of muscular women in the UK. We might not have a lot of "famous bodybuilders", but from what I know about competitive bodybuilding, even if you've got the body, it can still be notoriously difficult to get a pro card and compete in the shows you aspire to compete in.
When I first joined my gym, I used to see a woman who wasn't particularly ripped, but thick/bulky and pretty damn strong. She used to deadlift close to 200KG, and bench 100KG. Worked as a security guard somewhere, apparently.

More sightings in Kingston upon Thames. Saw a particular ripped blonde middle aged woman in Bentall's shopping center and another woman who jogs down Coombe Lane towards Wimbledon in the morning. Kingston seems to be quite a good place to live.

during the summer months we had a boot camp every Monday night at our local beach in Northumberland, a few muscular woman, but the impressive part was the trainer was none other than FBB Sharon Maddison, a small but very muscular power house, was always a wonderful sight watching her and other women training pulling tyres and flipping them
