This is a question that has intrigued me for some time: don't you think that FBBs should show more during contests they appear in? They have great bodies to show, not to mention it would certainly help increase the audience ;). Your opinions please...

I could see topless, but that would pretty much automatically leave out anyone with implants... Which in and of itself may not be all that bad an idea. Some 'bolt-ons' are large enough to actually obscure pec development..
Having said that, let me now go back on myself and say that while there are examples of women whom I admire who do not fit into what I am about to say, overall I prefer female bodybuilders to be just that. Female first, then a bodybuilder. As stated by me elsewhere, I don't have much interest in the utlra-dry, transparent skin, sunken eyed, 'contest-ready' look that some favor. I'd really like to see the competition place some reasonable emphasis on reality (what a concept!) and give credit for overall aestheticism as part of the scoring. And before anyone goes off on me for saying women should be judged differently from men, let me add that I say that we need some similar sanity in men's bodybuilding, too.
We (collectively) seem to be at the point where winning at any cost is the thing. Another poster pointed out in a different thread a while back the high mortality rate among bodybuilders in general who do very real damage to themselves in their quest to "be the best". It seems to me that one of the things we all need to be the best at is taking care of ourselves, but somewhere along the way, we lost that concept. I think it's time to try and get it back.

yeah I could see their bottoms getting a little more revealing, thong type bottoms should be an option and it should be the female's choice not manditory :)

for me i think it would be graet if the FBB´s would doing this Contests in the nude ;) . Of course the Ticket for such an event would cost a lot of Money but in this way i don´t care about ;D. also i´ve some other nice ideas but i think this is not the place to discuss them . lol
Btw , ´since i watched this "American Gladiator " Shows i was thinking about what a thrill it could be if the Women where nude at this Contest - or only waering a String . ::)

not just saying this as a horny man,but i would like to see them in thongs like they they do overseas and in brazil.the object is to show as much of the body as possible.how can you judge a womans glutes if you cant see them?going nude would be totally stupid.that would cut out the children(the up and comers)

Thongs to show more glute muscles is an excellent idea and will provide more popularity and more fans. Hey, sex appeal sells.

Topless will be an innovation, we could see the pectoral muscle. In my opinion for some fbb an advantage in competition.

ideally naked, but as that is unlikely in near future, girls should definitely be allowed to wear thongs to show off their beautiful glutes.

If the fbbs appear topless will be more fun but also it gave more value to their pecs.

You know i'm all for seeing nude chicks, but it's still a sport and that means they are athletes and not strippers. so keep as is, but use thongs as in europe and south america

I think TOPLESS is the Best, because the Sexual Organs somehow do Not seem to mix with Bodybuilding. Topless Contests will be Extremely Good for Gender Equality, since Male Bodybuilders do Not wear (Bra) Tops. Why should Women/Girls wear Bras for Contests?
