I frankly hate that horrible insta**** s..t as I think it represents the death of proper photography but maybe someone here disagree  ....

when selfies didn't exists there were less pics floating around but the photos were of much better quality..

Agree with frau.
Picture quality is usually terrible.  Worse are what usually accompanies them: the endless self-promoting rubbish, those 'me against the world' pseudo-inspirational quotes, the duckfaces, the dumb pictures of whatever trashy cheat meal they just ate, etc etc etc etc

I agree with all of you. However, in my day if you wanted a girl to send you a picture of her flexing it usually involved a friend taking the picture, the film taken somewhere to be developed, then the photo was put in an envelope with an address and a stamp.
