Some people believe that cause she done sessions, and posed nude  the IFBB felt she won't make a good Ms. O. The ideal of Ms. O is that of an role model for women.

Not to go against forum rules but just by googling cory everson nude you'd find a number of interesting un-photoshoped images but I get that Denise was an all-out stripper and did sessions but that shouldn't lessen the fact that she did her utmost to serve her community i.e. by acting as de facto caregiver for many stigmatised black children in and with, harsh circumstances and upbringings...

She was one of the most outstanding FBBs in our time.  Sometimes I think some of these gals tried too hard to market themselves when it certainly was not necessary....but that's just my take.

She was the best, or at least within the top 3, but I'm not sure on whether Denise tried to market herself because to me it seems she did the contrary, she came into the world of FBB with a background that was abhorred by the founders of IFBB and inimical to everything that they envisioned would make up the ideal poster child for the sport. Its undeniable that she had everything and we shouldn't be looking at it in hindsight because it would be naive to assume that steroids were the sole cause of the hardships she face today...she was, and still is, an enigma no doubt. There was no obvious reason to leave, she walked away in 1993 from her first attempt at the Ms O in second place, $20,000 in prize money and one hell of a chance to clinch first place the following year.

Anyway, we can all draw our own conclusions based on the GIF below...Being a heavily politicised sport, maybe she would've got first place had she not incorporated crawling as part of her routine..
