It's extremely hard on the women when the criteria is confusing as seen by the outcome.  I would love to see the score cards.  If the judges desire to change the criteria (look for another "look" as being the desired) then spell it out BEFOREHAND.   It should be clear.   These women left the stage confused.  It takes some determination and pure love of the sport to continue to compete when this happens.   My heart goes out to the girls who left the stage  not understanding what just happened.......

That's not to undermine the gal who won.  Hats off to her !!  ( she suffers as well by all the dialogue she reads about that contest..)

Well said, Alison...the judging criteria needs to be made clear. It's like entering the 100m sprint, be first, & then be told...the judges were in fact looking for the slowest competitor.
