Who's going to be attending the Rising Phoenix this weekend in San Antonio?

Just seen the line up for this show. Underwhelming to say the least. There are only about 3 girls that can win this and without the likes of Alina who is injured and the girls who have defected to physique like Anne freitas the line up looks weak. I admire WOS for supporting this show but I'm afraid to say that compared to the O this show looks a poor relation. There seem to be 4 or 5 girls that have been given 'sympathy' spots when they have placed near the back of the field in the other competitions that they did this year. Surely this is supposed to be the best of the best not a 'who can we get to show up' event.

It's unfortunate that Alina was injured, but even with her out, I still see at least 8 or 9 women who could win it. It may not be a huge field, but it's pretty deep, IMO. Other than Alina, who else is missing that would have likely challenged for the top spot?

This is my sentiment also. As much as I like Aleesha Young, Irene Andersen and Shawna Strong, they placed so low in their respective shows it is baffling to see them lining up in the finals. They each have great physiques but it making a mockery of having the qualifiers in the first place.

Notable absentees are Sheila Bleck, Simona Oliveira, Anne Freitas, Kahla Buhlemore, Lisa Giesbrecht, Kim Perez, Jenifer Sedia, Juanita Blaino. All these girls must have deserved a spot if it was an invitation event. I wonder how girls like Judy Gaillard and Angela Rayburn feel about being overlooked for this event at the expense of girls who finished below them in competitions this year.

Credit again for WOS for putting up the money for the show, but inevitably this is what will happen when the main event is organised by schmoes, for schmoes and financed by schmoes.

You'd think with all the recent moaning and groaning about the likes of Shannon Courtney walking away, people would support the competitions and competitors we do have. Clearly not. Just don't complain when there's nothing left.

Don't know who is going to win yet but OMG, Debi Laszewski looks totally phenomenal, from top to bottom.  She made huge improvemnts to her back under the tutelage of Charles Glass, and it shows.  Wow!

Such a shame that there is no Ms O because this contest was Olympia-like quality.  I hope it will push organizers to create more FBB events to show that FBB is still alive and well.
