I gather the color photos of her training were from Women's Physique World. I recall in the few photos I saw of her in the Flex March 1984 and M&F February 1984 issues of her posing at the 1983 American Championships (where she finished third among the heavyweights). She looked like she exhibited a certain grace--I suppose at the time when I heard the word heavyweight I thought of a hulking figure--in a back double biceps pose and a front one where her fists were not clenched.

A little off topic, but the photos from the Oliver Stone film SALVADOR reminded me of ... well, Oliver Stone.
He had a "strong" interest in FBB and often cast them in small parts in many of his films. He also "dated" them. One American Gladiator was often squired around by him. A private jet would pick her up and fly her to, for example, NYC for a film premier and to be escorted by Oliver.
Later she said that he had offered her a contract to be the mother of a child by him. The fertilization would not involve sex. She would have to undertake a special medical examination. She would give up the child to him for upbringing and would receive support for life. I believe that she declined the offer, but others did accept.
