Very rare to see Marina posing in a full power flex off stage. Well known for her creative off stage posing, she tends to avoid this type of pose except on stage. At Wave Gothic this last weekend, it is fair to say she created considerable interest, and agreed to show her remarkable condition in some powerful traditional poses.
Marina goes to Leipzig most years, and last year she presented a much softer look, you will see a few photo's in this topic if you scroll through. As she is in Contest shape for her first Pro contest, she decided to present a very different persona this year! I was not surprised she attracted attention, Marina was amazed at the attention she achieved! At a non bodybuilding event, she received much interest and many words of praise. This is what the world of Bodybuilding needs, to keep pushing for acceptance, promoting the sport positively. She gained many new fans.
As "Power Goth" top photographers agree that Marina has found a very interesting "Niche" that makes her stand out from the "crowd"! Beautiful to most people, frightening to some, and thought provoking images in a rare professional photo shoot. A remarkable lady, athlete, and there is more to come I am sure! I think going to Leipzig and showing a unique never seen before female Gothic image, was a masterstroke by Marina, and I hope it enables her to show that she is once again back on stage and in business!
