I understand if a fighter cried after the fight because sometimes it can be difficult to control emotions right after what happened. But to cry few months after the fight on TV, that's unacceptable for an MMA fighter even if it was a woman.

Ronda chose to act in a certain way that makes crying on tv not an option for her. This isn't WWE where you can switch between the good guy and the bad guy characters. I'm sure that Ronda will go back to act in arrogant way again "if" she defeated holly.

Because she is relevant, like her or not.

Doesn't she look a little overweight?

She isn't irrelevant even if she's not the champ. She's still pushed as the face of women's UFC love it or shove it. And the fact that she's trying to get into movies and whatnot proves that she's going to be around for a while. That's why she's doing press junkets. You have to assume this is all planned. She loses and makes a transition into movies and modeling before coming out of 'retirement' to win one more time or something.

I hope Holm still has a re-match against Ronda . And not Tate Rousey 3 .  Surprised Holly lost but i still think she has Ronda's number .

The key to Tate's success was shooting in for takedowns. Ronda has to close the distance to trip or hip-toss her opponents, due to having bad knees from years of high-level judo. That's where Holly nullified her via speed and better striking. Problem for Holly is, if she can't keep it on the feet, any decent grappler will drag her to the mat, maul and submit her. If Rousey/Tate 3 becomes a reality, it's unlikely Miesha can choke Ronda - she'll be too busy defending armbars.

Ronda should fight a rematch with Holly !  fighting Tate looks like it will be her next fight . But that doesn't prove much as she already beat her twice . You would think she would want to fight the girl who beat her . If She beats Meisha the media will go crazy and say Ronda is back etc . Let her fight Holly that's who she lost to so badly . Tate was alot smarter fighting against Holly , she didn't charge after her like she was unstoppable like Ronda . She kept her distance and fought brilliant .

Yeah agree Miesha had the right game plan and executed brilliantly. With Ronda I'd say it was more a case of trying to juggle too many different things, combined with camp conflicts.. led to big time burn-out. Then on top of that she tried to test herself standing and come at Holly rather than utilizing her much stronger ground pedigree. But Miesha's got the belt now so #3 does make sense. There's still plenty of time for Ronda/Holly #2 plus this gives Holly some more time to develop her ground/TDD and Ronda time to re-focus and resolve her issues as well.

Well, that's the end of THAT career.

Ronda looked like a tomato can in there.  There wasn't much "mixed" martial arts.  Just straight shots to the face from Nunes and it was over in under a minute.

It's too bad, she was really a superstar and did a lot for women's MMA.   But someone should have taught her how to box in preparation for the "comeback."  Man she was in jacked shape, that's for sure.

No matter now.  On to the movies.
