Julie is an all time fave of mine and has hung in there for more than 10 years, a milestone in fitness, at least IMHO.

Julie recently announced her retirement from competition.
She's been asking fans if she should return to the WBFF stage.
I think that would be a good idea.

I haven't competed since 2016. In 2017, I became pregnant and gave birth in 2018. Before that, I competed successfully through 11 consecutive seasons!! - my gawd! What a huge part of my life. When I look at this photo, I think of all the hours that went into building my glutes and back - and also how long I practiced this pose (including hair lift!) so I could share my hard work with all of you. . . I still dislike the term bodybuilding, due to the negative association it has for women, but that is the sport I thrived in for much of my adult life. I love the results from weight training and am proud of the physique I built. . . Everyone keeps asking if I'll compete again - who knows! For now, I just want to enjoy my daughter and the good feels that come with helping others achieve their goals!
