★DC★ «Power Girl» BUFF + JACKED! [comics + discussion]

Not really sure what he's up to but Eisner Award winner, Glen Fabry  would be perfect for a future Power Girl book.  Fabry with Sandu Flores inking did a memorable job on Birds of Prey #42, dtd June 2002.  The last time PG was seen was in the pages  of the 2011 DCU New 52 Mr.Terrific # 1-2 and in the run "Worlds' Finest" with Huntress, Helena Wayne.  Although Power Girl is the supergirl from Earth Two and is blessed with muscles her Earth One counterpart Supergirl will always be the legitimate "Girl of Steel" of the DCU.

Now I've said this before but it is up to the artist on how big and where Power Girl is. A perfect example is after George Perez left Worlds' Finest and they brought back the "booby hatch" on her chest.  The artist gave PG a figure to a physique build but with a built up rack.  Like I said it's up to the artist.  But I digress, it seems that the way of the comic book is starting to go the way of the super-hero TV show, especially the DCU, until power girl makes a show on either Supergirl or from the earth-two of the Flash she probably won't show up.

Like with many artists are doing and saying by their works (say possibly for maybe George Perez) it's not only the idea of whether or not Power Girl's going to pop the cloth on her upper sleeve, oh no!  It's a case of whether or not her boob window can handle the strain of her breast growth.

Power Girl Strength Displays:

Does an evil, buff Supergirl count? After all, they're (kinda) the same person...

     You're right and you're wrong, Karen Starr(Kara Zor-L) is the earth-2 supergirl... but this is not Supergirl (Kara Zor-el, Linda Lee Danvers) of earth-1 that came to earth in Action #252, May 1959 and was killed by the Anti-Monitor in the Crisis on Infinite Earths  #7, Ocotber 1985,  this is a shape changing creature created by Lex Luthor called Matrix who was taken by Supergirl's sacrifice that it took her Identity.  Her story was part of the Reign of Tomorrow series running through the Superman books in the 90's.  The story was written by Roger Stern, illustrated by june Brigman and Jackson Guice. 
      This particular form of the Matrix, is not evil but vengeful.  In the 1994 Supergirl mini-series she finds out that Luthor was making clones of her and become this form at the end of #3 (April, 1994) and through #4 (May, 1994) until Superman talks some sense into her.
