Marina won the overall and was proud to have bettered some bigger athletes.
The fact is, Marina often takes on and beats more ripped or bigger athletes, because her symmetry and overall package is superior. She only struggles in the overall because judges often favour the bigger class athlete. Even here, if you analyse Marina's structure, she is usually superior although smaller. She also analysis's her competition back stage, and knows what weaknesses and strengths each athlete has, and uses her best body body parts to show their weaknesses. It is a marvel to watch her at work.
And, by the way, this is 2008 not 2009.
