You have seen that Marina's come back this year is going well.
She won her first contest for 15 months gaining her Pro Card!
She went to Leipzig and  created more interest about Physique and female muscle than ever expected, many spontaneous photo shoots.
1 day at Fibo, very successful.
Then her first Pro Show. Much improved appearance, result not as expected, but hey, that's bodybuilding for you.

Did you know posing suits cost around 350 euro? Athletes often fund their own travel, hotels, etc. And gym memberships.
As success builds, maybe sponsorship will help, and of course a few wins will cover some expense.

Marina finished 16th in her division and goes through to round 2.
The top 10 go through to round 3 on 5th July. See link if you would like to support her. You need to vote daily if you want to make a big difference!
Realistically, she is not as well known as some contestants, so it is a bit of fun. But it would be amazing to see her go through to round 3!
Marina is taking a holiday, but will be back better than ever in the autumn.

Marina is doing OK in round 2, now 7th .  She was 18th! So, thanks Marina fans for helping her out.
2 days left, she must finish at least 10th to go through to round 3!

Thanks everyone who voted for Marina, she is now in round 3! Needs to be in top 5 to go through, she is 8th at the moment.
I hope she goes into round 4, but there is heavyweight support for the smaller women, and Physique is still too much muscle for many.

Yes! I pointed it out to Marina, and she laughed, and said she had not noticed it! She hopes no one else does, but now "The cat is out of the bag"!
It is a dangerous posing suit, the one she wore at her first pro show in Madrid. She also slipped the same nipple there, but that has also gone unnoticed....

Highly unlikely, Mass-Tech, unless it was deemed that an athlete did it deliberately to gain an advantage. In which case, the judging would be put into question rather than the athlete.
There was a time in the past when posing suits were inspected and banned before an athlete got on stage, but in this day and age, athletes buy from approved stockists, or if they make their own, they must be approved.
This happens all the time, but many photographers remove the picture from their published collection. But the photo I mention is High Res, and there is hardly anything on show, certainly from the front row, nothing would have been visible in live action. It is just a quirk of modern high res photography.
Unlike many athletes, Marina is not keen to show off what she should not, and this video she published (not competitive) was more by accident! And as you say, even in this clip, (just like Marina said to me ) You didn't notice it until you looked again. This did not happen on stage, so no problem at all.

Back in the 1980's and 90's it was common place to see posing tops lift up to expose both breasts! Even then, never a disqualification, but maybe it could happen in todays less liberal society.

The other contestants clearly saw Marina as a major threat, as she was attacked in the posedown, when a competitor saw her hit a pose when they thought they could beat her.
But only Ethel Heredia attempted to better Marina in chest and Abs poses! And she lost to Marina, bad move!  Sadly, you can't see the comparison in these pics, just a little of Ethel challenging Marina when she attempted to out muscle Marina's abs, but enjoy Marina's defined physique on it's own.


And, Marina has got through to the semi finals in the Ms Health and Fitness 2018 contest! She has beaten around 40,000 of the worlds best woman, so far, and now faces the last 84 women.
