I like her both ways!  Maybe we could combine the two images into a prefect PG shape!!

Its awful.  In the new DC official comei charcter reference book.

They took PG.

From: 5 7 and 160 pounds
To: 5 11 and 180 pounds!

Still got Wonder woman by 20 pounds at the same height.  But I liked at her previous size and height!  That made her a VERY voluptuous and muscular lady super hero!

Again, please keep in mind, it's always up to the artists of the character on how much muscle is packed on and how tight the "boob window" is  and expanded. My example will always be All-Star comics from pre-Convergence, pre-New 52 and pre-Crisis, Power Girl was introduced in 1976 and inked by Wally Wood.  Wood started to expand the chest area gradually until caught by the powers that were.   So again, it's up to the artist.

Now that the WB's "Flash"  introduced the 52 portals, do you think they'd bring in Power Girl like the did the golden age Flash?  ;)

I wouldn't mind seeing this, to be honest with ya. I know everyone has their own preference on who could be Power Girl, but if it were up to me, I would choose Brittany Beede to play as her. For those that don't know who she is, she was in WWE for a VERY short period of time as Jamie Keyes. While her time there was short, she had (to me) one of the best physiques WWE has ever had on their roster. Borderline comic-book like. Her attitude and mannerisms are perfect for a PG. The only real issue is her height. Beede is 5 foot 4, PG is taller. I know you all have much better choices out there, but I'm just throwing my opinion out there.

After watching the 41 years of growth, I think Power Girl need to go back to her roots as portrayed by Wood back in the 1970's, a true feminist .  Think about it she's the head of a major corporation, but she doesn't have the edge she had back then, such as when she told off the star spangled kid for giving her a "P" emblem mimicking Superman's "S".

What comic series is PG currently in?

According to the Grand Database ( www DOT comics DOT org ) she was in the mini-series "Harley Quinn and Power Girl" (2015-16).  Since then I don't think she really exists in the DC Resurgence universe.

I  know some of you may disagree but I  love Amanda Conner's version of Power Girl.

I have to agree with you, Amanda Connor did do a nice job, but blatantly gave her big boobs.  I still like the introduction of Power Girl in 1976 by Mike Grell (cover artist) and Rick Estrada  with Wally Wood Inks.

Does anyone out there know if there is a retelling of Power Girl's origin? Other than her 1978 origin, popping out as a full adult woman, much like the Superman from the radio series, and the DC Resurgence, I don't think much has been said about how she came to earth-2 or earth-1.

They did one for New 52. She hasn't been mentioned in Rebirth. I think that the PG that appeared in the Harley Quinn comics before rebirth was another power girl from another Earth (don't know wich one).

Back in the 90s, Bart Sears did an interview and they asked him why he drew Power Girl so stacked and packed (in Justice League Europe). Evidently, there was a contest going on behind the scenes among the artists at DC to see who could draw PG's boobs the biggest before their editors told them to tone it down. According to Sears, he won.

It's amazing Wally Wood got into trouble for that back in 1976 when he was the inker for her introduction.  ;)

Weren't the writer, penciler and the inker trying to see how far they could go before somebody actually said something? They kept on expanding the "boob window" and enlarging her breast until they were told to stop. It took a while until someone complained.

Keep in mind there were several issues in th 1976 run of "All-Star Comics" that introduced Power Girl where there was no boob window and according to Wally Wood and Paul Levitz that was sexy, leaving it up to the imagination.  But I digress, yes Wood and crew did get into trouble for making slight (not blatant) size improvement to he chest area.
