I just wanted to thank all the LW's at 2008 Nationals. It was an honor to stand up with the best in the nation. I know we all worked our tails off, which is why our class was one of the deepest there was. In my eyes we are all winners. We accomplish what the general population only dreams of. Reading the threads I feel I should assure you all that at 42 years of age, I didn't see this coming. I also want to relay to you that I started lifting when I was 17 years old and competing since 1991. That's 25 years of my life! The bodybuilding bug bit me pretty hard and ever since I have been comitted to the sport. Even though I have not been competing Nationally since 2002, I have worked day in and day out toward this very moment. I have put my time in ladies. With that said, in respect to all the LW's at the national level, you have my word that I will represent our class to the best of my abilities for as long as I possibly can. However I know that I will be standing with some of you again in the near future. Keep the dream alive ladies.
