Blonde vs dark haired beauty. Arja has her work cut out straining her quads against mighty Lisa Cross, who is in pretty good shape here. Is Arja powerful enough to restrain Lisa? Hopefully the finals pics will be posted and we will see...

No results yet, but looks Like Arja did defeat Lisa, and was in the top 3. Photo's only just released 10 mins ago.

Worlds 2011   2 + 55KG

Arja suffered a spinal neck injury which required surgery to correct in December 2010, which put her out of action for the whole of 2010. This is why we did not see her, but my fears that she had retired were unfounded.
Having gone through this set back and being in pain with her injury, her 2nd place in the Worlds +55 kg this year is a great delight to her, as this time last year, she feared she may not be able to compete again. She considers her 2nd place a great victory, and rightly so.
Let's hope she continues to compete, as she must be a great role model for women who think bodybuilding makes a women look unfeminine. Arja is living proof that muscles enhance femininity!
